About Associate Project Development Manager - 61812

  The Associate Project Development Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Development Manager(s) in achieving the project's objectives. Under guidance and mentorship, the Associate Project Development Manager performs various project management, project coordination, scheduling and analysis. The Associate Project Development Manager exhibits strong leadership qualities, is a strategic thinker and can adapt to scope changes to bring value to our customers. During all phases of the project, Associate. Project Development Manager participates in project site audits and related analysis and reports, and quality control over scopes of work development as applicable. Associate. Project Development Manager will support Project Development Manager(s) and Sales Lead(s) with customer support responsibilities.

  Primary Duties: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  Scope: Small to Medium sized projects with traditional scope complexity, medium need for internal and external coordination. Traditional customer vertical markets of: K-12 education, post-secondary, small/medium municipal and county government.

  Project SafetySupport safety strategy for the project and communicate safety requirements to all project team members and subcontractorsEnsure safety strategy, safety audits and required job hazard analysis and risk assessments are performedEnsure all personnel and subcontractors are familiar and adhere to Schneider Electric safe work practices and alignment with customer safety requirementsCustomer SatisfactionCollaborate with customer, Sales, and Project Development Managers to identify and understand the customer's mission and visionSupport a project strategy that aligns with the customer's mission and vision and operational needsEnsure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding project expectationsFacilitate the technical communication and presentation in customer project under mentorship of Project LeadLeadership ManagementDemonstrate servant leadership with project teamSupport PDM in innovation driving creative solutions and new ideas to exceed customers' expectations and deliver on project goalsSupport technical leadership on the review of scopes of work, review of project deliverables and customer stakeholder managementTechnical Project ManagementAssist and support Project Development Managers on multiple projects during various development phasesCreate customer business case, engineering and/or construction reportsCoordinate project scope with internal and external customersParticipate in energy, operational and financial analysis on scopes of workAssist in management and distribution of project status reportsSupport in entering, monitoring and tracking the progress of project risks, issues and assumptionsReceive, organize, and review information from the sales / development teamTake meeting minutes and distribute minutes and actions items from internal and external customer meetingsManage the Request(s) For Information (RFI) process and archive project information for team consumptionOther duties may be assignedBusiness and Strategy ManagementSupport Project Lead in the development of the Project Plan, Schedule and Budget for the Development Phase of the ProjectCollaborate with internal and external teams on budget, phasing and scope of work deliverables to meet the project planCoordinate internal and external teams for facility audits and site access on customer sitesParticipate with Sales Lead, customer kickoff meetings and scope debriefsIdentify and coordinate internal and external resources required to achieve project objectivesIdentify schedule and budget constraints and opportunities to achieve proje t strategyEducation/Certification Required: 4-year college degree or technical degree, and/or relative experience required.Experience Required: 1 years of equivalent work experience preferred. This role is an entry level role with novice to basic development and/or construction management experience.

  While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed a general office environment. During periods of project site visits, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms, which could consist of confined spaces and loud noises. Employee may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job requires work to be performed on project sites and thus will require greater than 25% travel to project sites. Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.
