　　Purpose

　　We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to lead our Center of Practice focused on data management solutions and RD content management systems. This roles will manage staff responsible for working with line of business management and staff to: Define the business, financial, and operational requirements of new and existing systems especially related to . Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new systems, and enhancements to existing systems. Determine ways of leveraging existing systems for new requirements. Enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow. Identify and resolve issues with existing systems. Leads the development and on-going refresh of the business-related IT strategy for the function or multiple functions. Proactively identifies areas of opportunity to apply IT for new business opportunities, process improvement, and cost efficiencies. Acts as a trusted advisor to the business. Key point of contact for overall IT needs of the function or multiple functions. Provides insight to the overall IT organization on how to best develop and leverage IT capabilities for the organization(s).

　　Responsibilities

　　This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive excellence in these areas technology solutions. The initial focus of this role requires a deep understanding of Veeva products, as well as a proven track record in managing teams, delivering successful projects, and establishing best practices. This role will play a crucial role in driving innovation and growth within the scope of the Center of Practice servings as a hub of expertise, best practices, and innovation.

　　Understands corporation's vision, goals and strategies. Develops appropriate IT strategies aligned with the business. Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the Veeva Technology Center of Practice. Provide strategic direction for the team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

　　Champions change and innovation. Stimulates creativity and innovation in others. Open to new ideas. Supports those who initiate change and take risks. Drive consensus across multiple project teams around improving consistency and standardization of common processes.

　　Elicits and diagnoses strategic business requirements for initiatives and programs. Provides advice and counsel regarding effective system utilization to meet business requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on Veeva technology solutions. Lead client discussions, workshops, and presentations to articulate value propositions and solutions.

　　Understands the business processes in multiple business functions. Leads development and application of strategy. Work involves application of high- level management and leadership skills. Has deep understanding of information systems industry and emerging technologies and implications for the broad business environment.

　　Determines alternative delivery mechanisms. Understands industry best practice, strategies, and tactics in client business area.

　　Negotiates, secures, oversees, and ensures that resources are available to meet the long-range operational demands of the business area. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Veeva technology experts. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and professional development.

　　Build strategic relationship with vendors to understand roadmap assess impact and evolving capabilities and trends. Streamline opportunities for consolidation of contracts and services.

　　Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Define and enforce best practices for Veeva technology implementation and customization. Conduct regular quality assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

　　Oversees and control department budgets, project capital / RCE expenditures & ROI. Develops, monitors and meets expense and recovery plans. Continually looks for opportunities for cost avoidance and cost reductions. Manages IT investment for multiple functions. Collaborate with the Architecture team to maximize investments on Veeva as a platform.

　　Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served.

　　• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 8 years’ experience; PhD with 4 years’ experience

　　• Project Management experience. Business and process experience.

　　• 1-2 years supervisory and employee development experience. 2-3 years strategic IT planning experience.

　　• Can explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to the highest in a persuasive and convincing manner.

　　• Broad and deep IT knowledge coupled with equivalent knowledge of the processes and activities of the business.

　　• Able to understand and communicate the potential impact of emerging technologies on organizations and individuals and can analyze the risks of using or not using such technologies.

　　• Proven track record of successfully managing teams and delivering complex projects.

　　• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

　　• Experience in Veeva technology, with a deep understanding of Veeva products and platforms.
