Reporting to the Dean of CPS, they are responsible for leading the vision, strategy, operations, and evaluation of all recruitment and external relations activities to meet the College of Professional Studies' enrollment goals. Additionally, this individual will lead external relations activities for the College to enhance the local, regional, and national reputation of CPS in support of enrollment goals. The Assistant Dean is responsible for securing and strengthening CPS's revenue stream by meeting set goals for overall enrollment across the portfolio of diverse programs. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to the enrollment team to reach these goals as well as contribute ideas for future growth areas. They partner closely with the Senior Director of Adult and Professional Marketing to develop aligned strategies for marketing and communications.
The Assistant Dean will inspire trust and confidence and possess the knowledge and skills to lead the College's overall enrollment management and external relations strategy and operations. The Assistant Dean will build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including faculty, students, administrators, alumni, and other university constituents. Working closely with Dean's Leadership Team, the Assistant Dean will develop and evaluate recruiting strategies, including establishing pipelines from corporate clients.This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. This individual is a consummate relationship builder, committed to the mission and vision of the College of Professional Studies and the University. They have a keen understanding of the adult, continuing and professional education market and an eye for impactful enrollment management strategies. They understand the B2C and B2B landscape, and the differing enrollment strategies for short courses versus full degrees. This individual is a self-starter, forward-thinking, creative, and committed to productivity and efficiency, contributing to a consistent, resonant brand image across all touchpoints in the enrollment process.
The Assistant Dean will need to keep up to date on the adult and professional education market dynamics, overall local and national competition, related regulations and policies, as well as other key developments through consistent engagement in select national/regional conferences, professional development and industry networking.Must have evening availability to support working professionals in their programs and periodically on weekends in support of the various course and program events.Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order. This includes building, developing, and evaluating processes and systems to grow enrollment pipelines, increasing applications and yield of high-caliber students into all CPS Programs. They will oversee a l recruitment communications and events and develop and execute B2C and B2B strategies for enrollment growth and custom corporate/organizational opportunities.• Lead admission and enrollment management outreach to candidates across all CPS programs; lead admissions processes and communication cycles to ensure a high-quality experience for prospects and applicants.• Set admission and enrollment goals for consideration and approval by the Dean as part of the annual budget process, in partnership with Director of Finance and Administration & Academic Programs Team.• Provide a strong revenue stream by meeting set goals for overall enrollment in new and existing College programs. Evaluate success of recruitment plans and adjust as needed to meet evolving College goals. Continually stay abreast of the market and make recommendations on potential competitive differentiators (i.e. price, offerings, modality, etc.)• Lead data and reporting efforts for Enrollment Management function in the College to ensure targets are tracked and met. Leverage data analytics to drive growth and identify key pipelines, accounts, and tactics. Manage the collection of all admissions and enrollment data necessary for the College's participation in the rankings process.• Ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies are incorporated into recruitment and enrollment.• Provide program recommendations and evaluate the viability of recruiting students into proposed programs. Evaluate CPS's strength and positioning and advise on strategic choices which will ensure the College remains competitive and increase brand recognition regionally, nationally, and internationally.40% -- Team Leadership• Lead all the recruitment and enrollment management teams.• Develop and implement individual and team enrollment goals; train, develop, mentor and evaluate staff; provide on-going feedback on performance improvement.• Manage recruitment budgets and events, including strategic analyses of ROI.15% -- Collaboration: Internal and External• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, staff, alumni, and university constituents with the goal of continuing to increase the breadth, quality and diversity of students enrolled in all CPS programs. Build strong corporate/organizational relationships and strategy to promote enrollment growth.• Collaborate with University marketing and communications teams to develop and execute an integrated and comprehensive marketing and communications strategy across the college's portfolio, within the larger objectives of the College and University. This includes web, electronic and print marketing efforts; publications, websites, social media, communications, public relations as well as sponsorship and strategic partnerships.• Ensure that the highest ethical standards and federal/state compliance are maintained across all admissions and enrollment practices. Partners with Office of Financial Assistance and other University offices as needed.• Member of the College Leadership Team, meeting regularly with other Assistant/Associate Deans to ensure alignment with College mission and goals, and cross-functional synergies. Facilitate the exchange of best practices and strategies across all college teams.• Represent the College on University committees as appointed by the Dean.5%- Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:• Master's degree, with 7--10 years of progressively responsible experience in the areas of
