Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create migration strategy to migrate legacy on-premise to Azure cloud

Work with different software engineering teams to understand each teams' roadmap for cloud adoption and create overall roadmap for the application including priorities, timelines, dependencies

Identify the opportunities for cost optimization while solutioning the Cloud adoption architecture

Design the Azure native architecture for the multiple on-premise

Identify the need for lift shift or complete architecture redesign

Ensure that the new cloud architecture is secure, efficient, highly available and scalable

Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

4-year degree in an Information Technology related field or 4 years of equivalent experience in an architecture role

8 - 10 years or more of related IT experience as a developer, engineer, architect, or similar role

4+ years of detailed hands on experience with Azure cloud implementation

4+ years of experience in an architecture role

4+ years of working in an Agile environment using SCRUM or KANBAN

Prior hands on experience of migrating systems from On-Premise to Azure Cloud

In-depth knowledge of API or microservices architecture patterns

In-depth knowledge of data centricity which requires 4 years or more work experience

High proficiency in developing visual representations of architectural solutions using standard notation
