Duties to include: coordinating with the Optum EAs to align on engineering practices, priorities and adoption of those standards and best practices within the OptumRx organization; managing the EA engineering practice; leading a collaborative high-performance team involved in many aspects of the architecture, including defining and documenting standards and best practices, developing frameworks and reusable components, executing POCs and technology assessments, and working directly with application teams to train and mentor other engineers; building DevOps strategies and best practices, CI/CD standards & best practices, Azure Cloud architecture & patterns, security patterns and best practices, and Enterprise Design Patterns/best practices/architecture; and developing frameworks and reusable components, executing POCs and technology assessments, and working directly with application teams to train and mentor other engineers. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Science, Engineering or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation.
