　　Our client has partnered with world-renowed energy management and automation company and are in need of an Applications Engineer to work with the customer's design engineering and purchasing group. A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Management is required. Must have experience with sales/business development with mechanical components and/or electromechanical assemblies.

　　Must be able to interpret engineering drawings for sheet metal and mechanical assemblies, along with SolidWorks exposure.

　　Hybrid role!!

　　responsibilities:

　　Work directly with customers to generate sales opportunities.

　　Collaborate with the customer's design engineering and purchasing groups.

　　Coordinate with local sheet metal manufacturers to develop prototypes and first production runs for new product launches.

　　Facilitate the first sourcing to India or the proper transfer of components/assemblies to major India-based manufacturing facilities for ongoing production.

　　Acquire purchase orders, mechanical drawings, and prototype parts as key deliverables.

　　Facilitate manufacturing start-up and/or transfer processes.
