As a leader in the seafood industry, we know that the key to our success is based on the commitment to excellence displayed by each of our team members.Summary:Provide administrative support to department managers and staff, such as but not limited to accounts payable, supply replenishment, answering telephones, maintaining calendars, processing credits and booking travel.Key Responsibilities:Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.Greet visitors and answer telephones.Performs team member service support functions by answering team member requests and questions;Assist walk-in applicants with online application process using onsite Kiosks.Assist with setting up interviews and HR related appointments.Assist with recruiting, hiring events, and team member orientations.Maintains and promotes EEOC compliance during the recruitment and hiring process.Assists with coordinating community relations and safety programsMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices Utilizes computerized accounting software programs (AS400, APC, Excel, and Word) to perform duties and responsibilitiesFull cycle A/P, matching, vouchering, and GL coding.Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentOrganizes and maintains retention AR/AP files for required period of time.Develops automated spreadsheetsAssists in maintaining up to date financial records.Daily & weekly compliance with state & federal regulations, completing documents and reporting timely and accuratelyMaintains vendor relationships.Create customer invoices for cross dock service billing.Fill in during vacations and absences of other admin staff.Keep inventory and order office supplies and business cards as needed.Work with office equipment maintenance companies for service as needed.Collect payments and balance cash drawer daily, following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions.Assist in planning office events and parties.Sort and route department mail.Pick up and prepare refreshments for monthly team events.Arrange staff appointments, meetings and travel itineraries as needed.Perform other duties, as assignedWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood:RequiredHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Great attention to detail.Valid driver's license.PreferredBilingual in English and Spanish.Accounts payable experienceAbility to travel, short local trips for retrieval or delivery purposes.Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Salary Range:$26 - $29 HourlyTotal Compensation:At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
