DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this role, you will serve as the lead staff person for the statutorily established FET Subcommittee, which is part of the County Adult Probation and Parole Advisory Committee. In this capacity, you will participate in the management and development of firearm education and training programs. These include tactical, range, classroom and in-service training for county probation and parole officers, as well as Commission approved Certified Firearms Instructors. You will assist with the development of new curricula, the evaluation and on-going revision of current curricula, and assessment of firearm education and training program needs statewide.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time. The employee in this position is required to report to headquarters at least one day per month, but might also be required to report "as-needed." In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
