Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide administrative support to purchasing card holders.
Work closely with bank to order and cancel purchasing cards, track and resolve fraud and dispute cases.
Audit purchasing card statement transactions and identify policy adherence issues, charge or support discrepancies, errors, etc. and resolves or elevates to management.
Generate various accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files and records.
Respond to and resolve purchasing cardholder inquiries.
Prepares analysis of accounts as required.
Maintain cardholder list, manage periodic updates.
Assist with monthly financial closing process.
Work from home 4 days per week, 1 day in office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer proficiency with other MS Office Suite software.
Knowledge of automated accounting/financial software systems.
Basic math aptitude.
Knowledge of accounting or accounts payable principles.
Excellent communications skills.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize work with good time management skills and ability to cope with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good customer service skills.
Must pass a pre-employment background investigation.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some college-level accounting courses is preferred.
Minimum 1 year accounting/accounts payable related work experience.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience and education may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.

Work involves constantly using a computer monitor, smart phone display, iPad/Notebook size display to view, review, read, research, search, reconcile, verify, identify and/or compare data and to identify and correct errors.
Work involves constant near vision in order to identify and view details at close range and discern numbers and symbols via computer or similar display devices, often using 2 computer monitors.
Work involves occasionally moving about the office.
Work involves frequently communicating, explaining in detail complicated or complex information/data.
Work involves regular communication with external contacts via telephone.
Work involves rarely moving about the campus or satellite facilities.
Work occasionally involves active listening skills and processing or decoding information or instructions.
Work frequently involves reading comprehension to understand and decode information or instructions, including email correspondence.
