Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the telecom services industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves processing invoices, managing accounts, and performing reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with another Accounts Payable Specialist to maintain smooth operation of the department.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks for various tasks.

• Perform data entry tasks and manage discrepancies.

• Manage inventory and order office supplies as needed.

• Occasionally perform receptionist duties, such as greeting guests and answering phone calls. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Proficient in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to handle Check Processing tasks

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Capable of resolving Discrepancies

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Prior experience in the Telecom Services industry is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is desired

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
