Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance field. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an indispensable part of a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. Located in Rochester, New York, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening. Career growth and quick advancement is available in this progressive department. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

　　Key responsibilities

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Perform special projects as assigned

　　Manage full-cycle A/P

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

　　Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners Requirements - Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Command of Microsoft Excel

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　High attention to detail

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
