　　We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-orientated individual with excellent communication, computer and organisational skills to join our growing Global Business Services Finance team in Budapest. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an organisation. The successful candidate will join the Record to Report (RtR) team, supporting the accuracy of monthly US GAAP reporting of a number of legal entities.

　　What you will do:

　　Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly close activities

　　Prepare accounting entries

　　Evaluate entries for completeness and accuracy

　　Review general ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepancies

　　Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including general ledger accounts and sub ledger accounts

　　Process accounts payable invoices

　　Process intercompany invoices and intercompany recharges

　　Post bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations

　　Management reporting to Thermo Fisher Group accounting teams through our group accounting system, Hyperion.

　　Preparation and submission of government and other agency returns, including but not limited to government statistics returns.

　　Ensure compliance with Corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).

　　Respond to requests from external and internal auditors as well as various groups company-wide

　　Complete ad-hoc projects as requested to support of our business partners.

　　Who we are looking for:

　　Degree or diploma in Accounting required; Professionally Part-qualified (working towards professional qualification)

　　Ability to learn, and apply knowledge and skills quickly

　　Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, computer and organisational skills

　　Ability to prioritise and follow through in a fast-paced, multitask environment

　　Fully proficient in MS Excel
