Description The expanding accounting department at Robert Half has an excellent opportunity for an entry-level Accountant. You will be responsible for entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. 　　How you will make an impact

　　Aiding in full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

　　Log data

　　Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

　　Prepare journal entries monthly

　　Investigating and fixing account discrepancies

　　Carrying out alternate duties and taking part in special projects as assigned

　　Aiding in audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits Requirements - 3+ years of relevant accounting experience at minimum

　　Great attention to detail

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Data Analysis

　　Payroll experience

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

　　Adeptness in Nonprofit Organizations

　　General familiarity with data entry

　　Account reconciliation experience

　　Microsoft Excel experience

　　Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

　　Preferred education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

　　Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
