Overview
Develop and manage the administrative operations of graduate and undergraduate academic administration in collaboration with program and department leadership. Assist with the academic process, course scheduling, course registration, and teaching assignments of CSD. Implement internal operational procedures and processes related to academic programs and programming. Execute adjunct appointment processes to ensure compliance with policies and departmental needs, under direction of Manager, Academic Administration. Support student registration in collaboration with the Academic Advising Team. Manage logistical and operational aspects for CSD Immersions, including event logistics, room reservations, catering, budget monitoring, volunteer assignments, payroll, supply purchases and distribution, etc. Track immersion program budgets to ensure all program event costs, immersion activities, and adjunct salaries are accurately implemented and tracked.Serve as a liaison with all Department residential and online adjuncts. Implement University-wide and school changes in policies and procedures and recommend changes to departmental procedures to meet new guidelines. Serve as a liaison with other University departments and offices (including, but not limited to: HR, Classroom Scheduling, Registrar, etc) to resolve problems.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
2+ years administrative experience providing support for office operations; managing complex processes and data sets; and serving as administrative liaison with other organizational offices at all levels.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years experience in a higher education environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficient communication skills strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal. Ability to present information clearly and concisely. Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments. Represent institutions at community and campus events, in meetings with other institution personnel, and during accreditation processes.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $65,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
