About the role
Reporting to the Training & Development Leader the Zone Training Coordinator is part of the site training team.
Job Description
Responsible for creation of work standards to develop and document the most effective way to work for all areas of manufacturing.Leading departmental teams analysing their operational areas and gaining input from SMEs about technical and operational processes. Make the standard process visual and easy to understand. Train everyone on how it works and what to expect, to eliminate variation, waste, and errors, and improve quality, efficiency, and safety.The work instructions will contain the key process steps, operator procedures, work locations, machinery or technology used, production sequencing, safety concerns, and quality checks.Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and compliance to standard work, including individual and departmental matrices.Audit and review existing and new work standards.Provide direction and guidance to operational trainers on what work standards are required, regularly reviewing progress and attainment against the plan.Standardise onboarding process for all associates and contingent workers.Investigate alternative ways of delivering work standards to the shopfloor.
About you
A working knowledge of production and manufacturing processes desirable.Knowledge of working and developing safe systems at work and SOPs and be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines. Excellent planning and organisational skills with attention to detail and passion for quality, accuracy and precisionChallenging tasks, short decision-making processes and a high level of personal responsibility. Decisive, conscientious, determined and target driven.Ability to lead and motivate different teams to achieve set goals.Room for innovative thinking and growth with the possibility to manage your own career path.Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good people management skillsDemonstrate a positive "can do" attitude.
