　　The X-ray Technologist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The X-ray Technologist is responsible for position patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. The X-ray Technologist works closely with radiologists.

　　Prepares patients for exam; communicates instructions and information. Follows AIDET model to consistently achieve highest quality of patient satisfaction.Consistently follows all elements of prescribed electronic workflow. Correctly and accurately utilizes the RIS and/or PACS to access patient information, enter charges, complete examinations, record allergies, etc.Performs timely, accurate quality control testing as required by the imaging system manufacturer and accrediting agencies.Manages and utilizes C-Arm X-ray equipment for use during surgical procedures. Assists with collection and transport of surgical specimens to Imaging.Who We Are:

　　Minimum EducationARRT (R) registered or registry eligible in Radiologic Technology. If registry eligible at time of hire, must pass registry examination within 6 months of hireCompletion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

　　Minimum Work ExperiencePreferred - 1 years of experience as a registered technologist in the appropriate modality

　　Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

　　Required SkillsCertifications:X Basic Life Support (BLS)X ARRT (R) registered or registry eligible in Radiologic Technology.
