6ABC- WPVI-TV Philadelphia is looking for a Full-Time Studio Technician within the programming department to support the daily production of news and other content across all platforms for WPVI-TV. This position is considered on-site, which means the employee will work from a Company-designated location on an ongoing basis.

What You Will Do :

Cueing talent for all live and recorded newscasts, in-studio shoots, sports shows, etc.

Handling studio lights, PC and console-based lighting boards, studio cameras, camera control units, studio routing, robotic camera operation, microphones, and IFB Systems.

Running teleprompter for all live and recorded newscasts, in-studio shoots, sports shows, etc.

Assisting with sets and props.

Providing support in the field for live events, parades, on-location shows, etc.

Additional studio duties as assigned and use of all broadcast and technology within assigned operation areas.

Required Qualifications Skills

Minimum of three years experience working on Television studio newscasts and studio/remote production.

Must be able to work a minimum of forty hours a week.

Must be willing to work various shifts as needed, including early morning, overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to multitask, prioritize handle tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced newsroom environment

A valid driver’s license is required to drive company-assigned vehicles
