As a Workflow Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing workflow processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the training/repair sewing department. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams in operations, human resources, customer service and quality to improve coordination and communication between departments. You will report directly to a Senior Supervisor and work on location at our Dayton facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct new hire sewing skill test assessments
• Onboard training for new hire sewers before placement into production. Assess and provide specific skill training for machine type and process required by operations.
• Coordinate repair/alterations with Quality department RMA process and lead two skilled sewers to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve coordination and communication
• Optimize workflow processes to increase productivity
