JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Instructwelding and fabrication and other related courses. Design, facilitate,revise, and maintain curriculum using the organization\'s curriculumsoftware. Promote optimum student learning and continuous qualityimprovement of curriculum and program operations to increase programeffectiveness. Work cooperatively with current Southwest Tech staff &variety of business customers to customize training and provide aquality-learning environment for students. Use evidence-informedinstructional approaches. Prepare and deliver student supportactivities. Continuously evaluate student progress, providinginformative and summative feedback through formal and informal means.Assist with marketing the courses, seminars, etc. Provideapplications-based learning activities that accommodate a variety oflearning styles. Pursue and maintain appropriate certifications,qualifications, and licensure to maintain a high level of technicalcompetency. Utilizingcommunication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction withcoworkers, supervisor, the general public, and others sufficient toexchange or convey information. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift up to 30pounds. Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionallyand/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift,carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
