Wastewater Operator II - 955

$27.68 minimum, $34.05 midpoint, $40.41 maximum plus $1.00 shift differential for all hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am

The City of Columbia is seeking a Wastewater Operator II perform lead work on an assigned shift performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper treatment of wastewater and to sustain regulated permit limits. Shift work and depending on staffing levels, it could be either 12 hour shifts or 8-hour shifts. Typically, it is 12 hour shifts either 7 am to 7 pm for day shift or 7 pm to 7 am for night shift. One week working Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and another week working Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. High School or equivalent.5 years' experience in wastewater operations.

**Special Instructions to Applicants:

**Must have valid Missouri A level wastewater operators certificate or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
