The VP, Total Rewards manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of Dollar Bank's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. The incumbent ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's overall business objectives and meet all legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Five (5) years relevant Benefits, Compensation, and Human Resources experience.Bachelor's degree or comparable experience required.Prior supervisory experience preferred.Experience with data management and analysis, and financial reporting.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point and other Microsoft products.Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).Working knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and hands-on benefits administration functions and processes.Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff.Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive human resources data.Principal Activities and Duties:
Manage all aspects of health and welfare, retirement, disability, and leave programs including strategy, administration, and compliance.Oversight of the company's compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, short- and long-term incentive plan design and analysis, and annual merit process.Conduct regular analysis of compensation programs to ensure competitiveness in the market and ensure pay equity of total compensation pay practices.Assists in the selection and ongoing management of the company's benefits and compensation consultants, vendors, brokers, actuaries, and legal counsel, including contract negotiations of the same.Oversee and assist with the annual benefit renewals and evaluation of program changes.Maintain all benefits and compensation plan documents and records.Prepare and present to various levels of senior management and the Board of Directors on key compensation and benefits data. May participate or serve on various management committees or work groups.Assist in ensuring compliance with all legal requirements such as HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, and others; assist in the filing of annual regulatory filings and discrimination testing's relative to IRS and DOL regulations.Monitor the day-by-day administration of all plan functions, including, new hire on-boarding, termination, life status events, COBRA administration, carrier data feeds.Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the Total Rewards team.Responds to and resolves employees' inquiries and issues while working with vendors and third-party administrator to seek resolution to any problems that are consistent with plan documents, regulatory requirements, or other internal procedures and guidelines.In partnership with Public Affairs and other departments, oversee and coordinate all internal and external compensation and benefit plans communications to current and former employees.Performs other related duties as assigned.
