Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude the design and implementation of HSE programs as well as keepthe routine of data accuracy and updates needed for KPI\'s and needed inmultiple systems required by our customers or federal, state, or localcompliance. The incumbent is a knowledgeable individual contributor thatworks both as an internal HSE advisor as well as a hands-on colleague.Responsibilities Drive a Culture of HSE throughout the plants to reduceincidents. Identify and implement ways to improve HSE procedures andpolicies. Update and follow all KPIs and requirements for compliancestatus maintenance with clients and authorities. Maintains HSEManagement System and documentation. Control emergency responseincidents and support corporate HSE activities. Analyze and providesupport to the site on accidents investigations, incidents or nearmisses and deliver strong corrective and preventive actions to preventrecurrence. Manage Workers\' Compensation Claims and Return to Workprograms. Active participation and leadership of HSE committees withinthe supported locations. Inform and consult on matters of planning,execution, and maintenance of workshop equipment; purchasing technicalequipment; training on health and safety procedures; designingworkplaces and workstations, working processes as well as emergencyprecautions Ability to work independently and capable of forming strongworking relationships/partnerships with Site Leadership teams and hourlywork force A thorough knowledge of applicable government regulations,safety compliance, and industrial hygiene.
