　　Summary:

　　Monitors patients on telemetry devices and monitors at-risk patients on Safety View devices.

　　Work Schedule: Full Time Nights/72 hours per pay period.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Performs surveillance of multiple patients and recognizes abnormal findings. Reports and documents findings.

　　Recognizes, intervenes, reports and documents abnormal findings or at-risk behavior during monitoring. Maintains telemetry records, rhythm strips and charting documentation in EMR.

　　Greets patients, answers phone calls and assists health care team with patient visits.

　　Performs clerical tasks as needed.

　　Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

　　Requirements:

　　Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required. Preferred: EKG training.Required Licensure/Certification: None required.

　　Minimum Experience: None required. Preferred: Telemetry experience.

　　The pay range for this position is: $18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
