Thisposition is an entry-level customer service position that works closelywith other employees and the public. Continual on-the-job training willhelp the employee gain knowledge and experience. Uniforms are provided.

　　Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Conduct investigations, inspections, and other activities related to theMVE program in accordance with the law and Patrol policies. Examine andconfirm the identity of vehicles previously titled in a foreign state orcountry when applicant desires to obtain Kansas title/registration.Check titles and other VIN related documents for accuracy, authenticity,and evidence of alterations. Provide prompt, courteous, and efficientservice to the public. Detect evidence of tampering of vehicleidentification numbers and odometer fraud, titling and/or registrationlaw violations, and other fraud associated with vehicles. Notifydispatch when a person, vehicle and/or component part are determined tobe wanted or stolen. Maintain complete and accurate fiscal records ofall transactions. Constant contact with the public and auto dealerofficial. Must be able to legally drive KHP vehicles for job relatedduties. Regular, reliable, dependable, performance is an essentialfunction.
