CST on the closing date.A-State participates in E-Verify.\\Position Summary:\\The Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration (VCFA) serves as theuniversity\'s chief finance officer and is an effective team player andmember of the Chancellor\'s Cabinet and the Executive Council, providingleadership in the areas of finance, administration, operations,auxiliary services, information technology and facilities. As a visibleand engaged member of the campus community, the VCFA collaborates withthe chancellor in developing financial strategy, budget, and financialpractices aligned to the university\'s vision, mission, and goals byproviding leadership and strategic direction for all businessoperations, financial planning and management, business accounting, riskmanagement and compliance, budgeting, facilities and materialsmanagement, safety and security. The position serves as the principalfinancial advisor and will ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness ofall financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. This position assesses organizational performance againstboth the annual budget and the university\'s long-term strategy.\\Duties & Responsibilities:\\RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS\\\Plan, develop, implement and analyze the coordination of all financialresources of the university as well as lead the university intransparent resource planning and budgeting.\\Responsible for collecting and analyzing complete financial data acrossthe university, assisting all parties in making informed decisions.Annually evaluate the alignment of performance funding measures and theuniversity\'s outcomes. Develop metrics and measures for success,provide accessible dashboards and consistent reporting to ensuretransparency and to raise financial literacy across the university.Oversee the development of annual and long-range financial plans(operating and capital). Drive efficiency across all areas of theuniversity by improving systems, processes and policies that achieveorganizational financial goals, reduce risk, and increase compliance.Stewardship of resources to provide stability and confidence for theuniversity community that all financial matters are being handled in aprofessional and ethical manner.
