Job Location: Lansdale PA
An ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in validation, quality assurance, and engineering practices forGMP biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities,experience in the establishment, implementation and management of risk-based validation programs forFDA licensed facilitiesand be competent in the inspection and design review of theDeltaV automation platform.
Desired Background/Experience/Attributes:Proven ability to lead and manage Commissioning/Validation projects in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirementsDeltaV automation validation and quality deliverables experienceExperience with review and approval of testing rationales for qualification documentation to ensure specified software functionality satisfies user requirements and project quality plan before submission to clientAbility to evaluate deviations to determine adequate path forward including interfacing with client's validation and quality group to ensure conclusions are acceptableExperience maintaining project requirements trace matrix (RTM) and reporting progress to project leadership teamAuthor key validation documents such as Validation Project Plan (VPP), risk assessments (FMEA, Risk Ranking), User Requirement Specifications (URS), vendor assessments and monthly status reports to project leadershipExperience performing gap analysis between regulatory requirements, corporate quality guidelines and project documentation, including remediation strategies to ensure project remained compliantExpert level knowledge of CSV and GAMP5 lifecycle and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectorsExcellent communication skills, must work well in a team environmentSelf-starter who can get the job done despite obstaclesRequires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Process Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fieldAt least 6 years' experience as a Validation Specialist, Computer System Validation Engineer or related occupation
