  Essential Job Duties:

  The Corporate Engagement team within the division is responsible for raising revenue to support the activities and initiatives of this division This revenue is comprised of a wide variety of Corporate Engagement opportunities, including broadcast, digital, production, and event sponsorship, along with revenue derived from the network’s facilities and production services. The team operates with a growth mindset to provide sustainable and increased financial support for the division.

  The Corporate Engagement Coordinator is a key position working with the Director of Corporate Engagement, the Director of Corporate Underwriting, and Corporate Engagement staff to serve as a project manager supporting the execution, tracking and administration of the team’s goals and performance to meet and exceed its revenue goals. The Corporate Engagement Coordinator will also harness data and technology, using a variety of systems, including Hubspot, LinkedIn, Nielsen’s Scarborough system, Protrack, Trac Media tools and other ratings and data analytics, to assist the Corporate Engagement team drive revenue growth opportunities with corporate partners. Assignments will include, but are not limited to, prospect and account research, proposal preparation, data analysis (including qualitative research from the division and other public television sources, mining social media and competitive media to identify qualified prospects), coordinating and taking some Corporate Engagement calls, providing ratings information, preparing customized presentations, soliciting in-kind contributions of goods and services, administrative account reporting, and providing excellent customer and client services to all internal and external partners.

  Other Work/Responsibilities:

  Job Duties:

  30% Manage spot development and sponsorship benefits to maximize client investments

  with the division.

  Effectively and accurately manages sold underwriting inventory, including:

  Broadcast:

  • Executes the creation and delivery of all benefits to corporate accounts (working with the Corporate Engagement staff), the creation of all on-air corporate and foundation credits, and confirms the accuracy of the underwriting flight information used by the division’s programming databases.

  • Collects all spot materials from Account Execs and/or Underwriters and provides them to the division’s NC staff creating underwriting credits.

  • Sends email to On-Air Promotions Manager with clear instructions regarding what needs to be done to create spot.

  • Assigns Media IDs and creates record / dub order in ProTrack.

  • Export spot(s) from Dalet and Silver to Dropbox.

  • Sends draft to Underwriter for approval to air.

  • If revisions needed, sends instructions/new materials to On Air Promotions Manager for Draft #2.

  • If/once approved, alerts On-Air Promotions Manager to push spot to JMC .

  • Coordinates Scheduling of All Sold On-Air Products with the division Corporate Engagement Traffic Manager.

  Digital and Events:

  • Handles Trafficking for Pre-Roll for the team

  • Handles all scheduling with Marketing Dept. for digital and on-line, multiple newsletters per inventory sold by the team.

  • Collects/Curates and Publish all data for the Corporate Underwriting Team Mass Email Delivery.

  30%: Provide accurate, timely and effective administrative support for Corporate

  Engagement team to grow revenue and in-kind support of the division.

  Works effectively with the Director of Corporate Engagement, the Director of Corporate Underwriting, and Corporate Engagement team staff as a project manager supporting the execution, tracking and administration of the team’s goals and performance in an efficient and accurate manner.

  Administrative duties include:

  Agreement Administration:

  • Executes post Corporate Engagement activities, including the formal agreement process.

  • Develops and implements all contracts and agreements.

  • Enters and maintains all agreements databases, including Tessitura for all corporate engagement work.

  Invoicing/Revenue/Financial Tracking:

  • Oversees and tracks all data/monies/schedule for all contracted Underwriting Clients

  • Coordinates all underwriting invoicing with Accounting.

  • Inputs all data into Tessitura for Underwriting Funds received and in the pipeline for clients creating all pledges and accounts for clients.

  • Provides accurate and timely commission reporting data for Account Executives with accounting department.

  • Prepares and/or oversees preparation of all corporate revenue reports.

  • Oversees management of corporate donor information residing on the division’s donor records system (HubSpot and Tessitura). Working with Corporate Engagement and support staff, oversees the division’s on-air pledge partner participation.

  • Oversees all corporate and foundation payment schedules, including affidavits and proofs of performance.

  In-kind and Other Administrative Duties:

  • Manages all 100% In Kind Contribution Agreements (Prospecting, Proposals, Corporate Engagement, Agreement, Client Contact, Spot Creation and execution)

  • Schedules and Secures all food vendors for all on air fundraisers and additional events.

  • Contributes to SABS and other reporting as needed.

  20% Conduct research and develop presentation materials to assist the Corporate Engagement team in expanding solicitations by focusing on data and market intelligence.

  Assist Corporate Engagement team members with segmenting and targeting the division’s market and help position the division in the corporate community. Duties include:

  • Design, produce or oversee both general and customized marketing and Corporate Engagement materials.

  • Oversee and ensure the use of relevant research from the division and other appropriate sources to incorporate into marketing materials.

  • Provides all research for the team as needed utilizing Scarborough, TRACmedia, TRAC Underwriting Tools, Nielsen NLTV , and prospecting.

  20% Support Corporate Engagement team with effective data tracking and analysis

  Effectively uses data tracking and analysis to support the Corporate Engagement team including:

  • Provides all reports and reporting data to and for the Corporate Engagement team (Hubspot, Tessitura, Checklist, Invoicing).

  • Utilizes data tools, including Trac Media, Trac Media Underwriting Tools, Scarborough, HubSpot and Tessitura, to pull, track and analyze data important to underwriting and sponsorship priorities.

  • Manages the division’s corporate scoring system

  Required Qualifications:

  Competencies:

  Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of the division’s Development policies, procedures, technology, and best practices. Thorough knowledge of the methods and techniques of planning, writing and editing and producing content. Ability to edit and analyze informational material or content prepared by others. Thorough knowledge of the techniques for disseminating information to the public and target groups

  Program/Project Administration: Ability to consult with and determine client/customer needs and project parameters. Ability to plan and manage a multi-faceted corporate underwriting initiative; work with assistant director of corporate underwriting to define scope, goals, tasks, deliverables, timelines, tools, and resources; assess the needs of the Corporate Engagement team; determine any gaps, and recommend changes in procedures, workflow and work assignments to improve efficiency and effectiveness in performance; develop and monitor databases, marketing materials, schedules and reports; ensure accuracy of data and compliance with the division and it’s standards.

  Communication & Marketing: Ability to maintain and enhance professional relationships to increase credibility for building support and reaching consensus when explaining and interpreting the division’s Corporate Underwriting policies and procedures; convey sensitive information or decisions to clients; work toward mutual resolutions that are in the best interests of the organization and across organizational lines; promote and market in-kind or trade deals and persuade clients of the needs and beneficial outcomes of partnering with the division; apply creativity to development of strategies and functions; take a lead in presentation of products and cultivation of donors.

  Consulting/Advising: Ability to identify, advise and collaborate with clients regarding communication needs and issues; ability to provide options on the type of strategy to use with communication plans and gauges their potential effectiveness.

  Organizational Sensitivity: Ability to understand the mission, objectives and goals of corporate underwriting with multiple service delivery functions. Ability to understand internal workings of the department in relation to the external expectations of the clients and stakeholders. Ability to assess the potential impact of internal/external communications efforts and make necessary adjustments.
