Job Description

On a daily basis, you will apply complex principles of human centered design as well as user interface interaction design principles to the ever-changing, fast paced, high profile environment of this federal client. Demonstrate intermediate wireframing and prototyping abilities. Support the creation of concept sketches, static wireframes, annotated wireframes, platform-built prototypes, and code-built prototypes as relevant. Participate in the planning, execution, synthesis of user research and/ or usability testing. Even better if you have a background or familiarity with software development approaches to translate design requirements into software development requirements.

Must have:

3 years of experience delivering interface design solutions for various clients or stakeholders

2 years of experience demonstrating proficiency or expertise in relevant professional design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (with an emphasis on XD), or InVision

2 years of demonstrating experience with user research and usability testing

Bachelor’s degree

Bonus points if:

Excellent written and oral presentation skills, including facilitation of small to large groups (10+ people)

Ability to provide clear, articulate rationale for design choices and approach

Experience and comfortability using scrappy design tools like paper and slides

Experience working within Agile environment

Familiarity with custom software development practices in order to effectively communicate with a highly technical, multidisciplinary team

Experience delivering design products across multiple classification networks

Experience working as a part of small to medium sized teams of designers/creatives (3-7+ people)

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$87,400—$188,800 USD
