JOB REQUIREMENTS: HealthPartners Westfields Urgent Care Clinic in NewRichmond, Wisconsin, is looking for an Advanced Practice Clinician 36hours/week. Shifts will be Monday - Friday, evening and weekend hours.Employment is through the HealthPartners Clinic in Stillwater,Minnesota, with primary location at Westfields, and will be expected towork at other HealthPartners Clinic Urgent Care sites in the St. CroixValley (Stillwater, MN, Hudson, WI and Amery, WI). The Advanced PracticeClinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) provides healthcare services in the clinic setting to department-specific patients.This may include the provision of primary and preventive healthcareservices as well as care for acute illness and injury. The NP/PAadministers patient care and practices prescriptive authority inaccordance with Minnesota State Law and the standards set by the Boardof Directors of Stillwater Medical Group. The NP/PA will work closelywith all physicians in the Department in order to ensure continuity ofcare and will be assigned a physician mentor who will be available tothe NP/PA for consultation on clinical and patient care issues. TheNP/PA routinely interacts with patients and customers of the StillwaterMedical Group and will demonstrate a commitment to quality patient careand service and will support the short and long term mission, goals andobjectives of the Stillwater Medical Group. The NP/PA may be required toparticipate and share duties such as weekend hours and callresponsibility as well as other duties as assigned. Requirements arerepresentative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.A minimum of two years previous experience working in an ambulatory caresetting in Family Medicine as an Advanced Practice Clinician or one yearprevious experience working in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room settingas an Advanced Practice Clinician. Graduate of an accredited nursepractitioner program and completion of Masters of Science Degree inNursing - OR - Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.Current Minnesota license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as anAdvanced Practice Nurse by the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Boards ofNursing - OR Current license as a Physician Assistant by the Minnesotaand Wisconsin Boards of Medical Practice Certification as a SpecializedNurse Practitioner by the National Certification Board of thespecialization - OR - Certified by the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants Current DEA License. Basic LifeSupport (CPR) certification.
