We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst II or Senior to join our team. As key contributor you will:
Play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the Treasury function of the organization, including banking, debt management, investments, corporate credit card program, and the rating agency process. Additionally, you will provide essential assistance in planning and analyzing SPP's liquidity and borrowing needs. The Treasury Analyst is expected to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
The Treasury Analyst will offer crucial support and significantly contribute to the overall objectives of the treasury function, the Finance organization, and Southwest Power Pool. The Treasury Analyst will achieve this by comprehensive planning, appropriate prioritization, critical thinking, timely and accurate implementation and execution, and a commitment to efficiency, effectiveness, continuous improvement, professionalism, curiosity, open and honest communication, kindness, and respect in all aspects of their work. To be successful as the Treasury Analyst II or Senior, we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Senior: Six (6) years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial analysis
Level II: Four (4) years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial analysis
Strong analytical skills with an appropriate degree of professional skepticism.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across the organization.
Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designationPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hybrid position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.Travel Requirement:
