　　We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Manager to be based in our new customer site in Wetherby. As part of this busy transport operation, you’ll ensure the timely and safe dispatch of drivers across Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM .

　　Pay, benefits and more:

　　We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. 　　What you’ll do on a typical day:

　　Management of Core Fleet Drivers & Subcontract Haulier drivers

　　Focus delivery on results and sustainable improvement through financial, Customer Service and Business processes

　　Ensure quality control of, all subcontractors and suppliers

　　Deploys appropriate controls and procedures to effectively manage all aspects of customer service and communication

　　To ensure all company procedures and processes are being followed by operators

　　Oversees cost control and KPI performance, actively seeking to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst meeting the budget as a minimum.

　　Creative, flexible and consistent leadership to develop the Transport team on a dedicated contract.

　　To maintain fleet standard and act on defects

　　To ensure tachograph records are up to date

　　To act upon personal and road traffic accidents

　　What you need to succeed at XPO:

　　Previous experience within a transport / logistics organisation

　　Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast moving environment

　　CPC is essential

　　Working knowledge of driver hours regulations

　　Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

　　Champions a ‘customer first’ approach. Understands and appreciate customer requirements and quality standards. Engages with internal and external customers to exceed customer expectations
