　　Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Transport Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis working at our Thurrock site, working 12 hours shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern.

　　Pay, benefits and more:

　　We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000. We offer 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

　　What you’ll do on a typical day:

　　Provide administrative support to the Transport team within agreed time scales including working to deadlines and ensuring that all telephone calls are answered and directed accordingly.

　　Complete administrative tasks as required, accurately and within agreed timescales (i.e. processingReconciliation Day 1 for Day 2, also Data input)

　　Support and adhere to XPO processes, procedures and requirements (e.g. Audit requirements, Health & Safety, HR processes etc.) in order to minimise financial, reputational and operational risks/costs

　　Provide professional, friendly and efficient service to all customers by actioning enquiries and ensuring that appropriate customer service standards are maintained

　　Monitor, organise and control day to day Administration within the Team including stock control and ordering of PPE.

　　Administration of trachograph data including compliance

　　Any other Adhoc Administration Duties

　　What you need to succeed at XPO:

　　Evidence of Administrative experience in a transport environment.

　　Experience of Working Accurately with numbers, consignment notes and other paperwork where close attention to detail is paramount

　　Basic health and safety knowledge / experience

　　Evidence of experience in understanding, investigating and solving customer service issues and escalating where appropriate

　　Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast moving environment

　　Experience in utilising Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
