The position can be based in one of our West Coastoffices. The Transit Leader will be responsible for the continued growth of the practice through prioritizing client experience and positioning to win new projects. Additionally, the successful candidate with lead and mentor the Rail/Transit team that is located throughout the West Coast with a focus on growing exceptional talent for our future and continued growth. You will also be accountable for allocating staff resources, budget preparation, fiscal reporting, planning, scope development, and project oversight for all assigned capital projects. This individual will work independently with multi-discipline A&E teams managing a variety of projects from smaller on-call task orders to large transit programs.Key leadership responsibilities will include:Leading positioning efforts for a variety of mid- to long-term opportunitiesLeading proposal preparation and/or review. Coordinate teaming arrangements for project proposals as necessary. Support larger pursuits and pursuit teamsPerforming client management, coordination and communication with agencies such as LA Metro, Metrolink, MTS, NCTD, BART, Sound Transit, OCTA and RCTCMentoring staff in consulting skills and BD/marketing as well as design and project managementKey operations responsibilities will include:Ensuring oversight of work, budgets, project management plans and workload forecasting are executedAssisting with the development, implementation, and oversight of the strategic and annual business plan developmentEnsuring applicable quality processes are being followed for all deliverablesDeveloping, implementing, and managing annual labor budget (goals)Working with leadership to prepare workload projections, monthly Revenue Recognition Report, monthly Exceptions Report and assist with collections as necessaryProviding input with respect to hiring, advancement, promotion, and other personnel mattersPreferred Experience:Strong Communication SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.PE license with ability to get reciprocity as neededPMP CertificateMinimum of 12 years of experience in Civil/Transportation Industry. Experience with design, construction and/or operation of rail and transit lines preferredKey Client RelationshipsHistory of developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients and peersExperience with operating transit agencies and railroadsExperience with federal, state and local fundingExperience with FTA and/or FRADemonstrated success in growing a group, division or companyCompensation Range:$184,647.00 - $247,594.00Don't meet every single requirement?
