We are seeking a summer Intern to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Research and recommend technical content according to organizational requirements
Identify potential course offerings and content according to objectives
Assist in the preparation of training material
Assist in the execution of training sessions, webinars, workshops etc.
Assist training team with course completion metrics
Observe and evaluate results of training programs
Assess the effectiveness of a learning experience and make recommendations
Requirements :
US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 30 credit hours (sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply)
Knowledge of systems software, computer systems architecture, software programming, development, testing
Basic knowledge of computer operating systems including Linux
Experience working in a team environment
Good written and spoken communication including developing technical documentation
Desire to work in the field of "software engineering" with a variety of programming languages such as Python, JAVA, C/C++ (Linux and Windows OS)
Ability to work on-site in Moorestown, NJ full-time in the summer with possible part-time (5 or more hours) during the school year
