Duties include but are not limited to: purchasing using procurement card, purchase order, requisition and bid solicitation; project and daily tasks organization, management, tracking and quality control; staff supervision and leadership; cultural and natural resource management; advanced electrical work, plumbing work, historic facility maintenance, repair and preservation. Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of large equipment and vehicles. Provides technical assistance to Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) workforces when present in the park. Participates in the agency safety program. Assists in the daily operation and maintenance of the parks water systems per Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Texas Parks Wildlife rules and regulations.
