  SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY

  SDSU Athletics has partnered with Legends Global Sales to assist in the sales strategy and execution of ticket packages for Aztec football, men’s & women’s basketball, as well as premium and priority seating at the new Mission Valley Stadium.

  THE ROLE

  The sales team is primarily responsible for selling season, partial and group ticket packages for all ticketed sports, as well as driving fundraising dollars to support San Diego State Athletics and the Student-Athlete experience. This person should be a self-motivated and positive professional. The Ticket Sales Representative will work under the guidance of the Director of Ticket Sales.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  1-2 years of prior sales experience is preferred.

  Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate C-level clients.

  Professional verbal and written communication skills.

  Candidate should possess excellent time management and organizational skills.

  Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  Experience with CRM management is preferred.

  Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in sports and/or development.

  Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  This position will be focused on prospecting, appointment setting, executing sales presentations and closing sales.

  The candidate will be responsible for selling a full menu of ticket packages, including premium, full seasons, partial plans, and groups.

  Identify and manage a portfolio of new prospects and existing donors to provide excellent customer service and drive revenue through the sales of ticket and donation offerings.

  Identify and evaluate potential donors; design and implement prospect cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to meet monthly and annual goals.

  Setting and conducting out of the office sales appointments.

  Effectively use Salesforce CRM to accurately record all client and prospect interactions.

  Participate and contribute in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.

  Nurture relationships with current and prospective ticket holders and donors through networking events, speaking engagements, donor appreciation events, in-game prospect sampling and seat visits, outside meetings and more.

  Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events and game days.

  The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of activity (calls made/appointments set) and goals

  Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as a competitive desire to be the best.

  COMPENSATION

  Competitive salary $20.43 hourly, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
