　　Position Summary:

　　The Volunteers Gift Shop Associate serves the customers of the retail shops on afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed. The position would be trained at all Auxiliary retail locations. Assists the gift shop manager with duties assigned for those hours.

　　Qualifications:

　　SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Good customer service skills. Cash handling skills.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Assists in keeping displays neat and organized.

　　Assists in pricing items.

　　Closes register at designated times and completes deposit.

　　Fills phone orders and delivers merchandise to patients' rooms. accordingly

　　Greets customers, and determines their needs, and serves them accordingly.

　　Keeps sales floor neat and stocked.

　　Responsible for sales and situations that may arise in the absences of the shop manager.

　　Restocks merchandise daily.
