Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a Test Engineering Technologist located in Salt Lake City, UT.
Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Test Engineering Technologist will assist Engineers with initiatives to improve test performance (yield) and support production to be more efficient to debug failed units. In addition, will work in the engineering lab performing experiments to understand and diagnose complex problems with servers.
What a typical day looks like:
Assist engineers to apply new debug initiatives.Diagnose complex problems with test in hardware and software.Collaborate with engineers and lead changes in debug area.Assist engineers to design and create debug documents and validate new procedures.To support Failure analysis engineering.Evaluate current procedures and improve troubleshooting methods.Support engineering to maintain test equipment's in the lab. To advice on equipment and cables requiring repairs or replacements.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
Supports NPI (new product introduction).Participation in Kaizen projects.Typically requires a Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.At least one year of experience with computer manufacturing, hardware and software.Experience with complex debug on computers and servers.Linux expert.Familiar with lean manufacturing.Runs experiments and uses data to elaborates root-cause analysis reports.Attention to detail and hands on with proactive approach to troubleshooting issues as they arise.
