Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Test Engineer supportingthe Space Systems Command (SSC) Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO)programs in the United States Space Force. This position will support theprogram office as it requires advanced persistent cyber defenses againstnation state threats to operations. Given the stove-piped nature of the spaceenterprise, the Cyber Operations approach shall be multipronged. Thelong-term strategy involves a common ground architecture providing centralizedmanagement and control of satellite operations through Enterprise GroundServices (EGS), resulting in a truly integrated space enterprise.Collaboration and cooperation across space acquisition, space and cyberspaceoperations, and commanders at all levels is required to apply a risk-basedapproach (both mission and system risk) to establish enterprise-widesituational awareness in the cyberspace domain.This is a full-time opportunity located in Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:Follows standard agile practices, processes, and governance aligning withthe agile DevSecOps methodologies.Continuously and actively engage with other development teams to managedependencies and resolve impediments.Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes.Analyze the underlying causes of performance issues and provide correctiveaction.Develop an automated test scenario and environment for performance testing.Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures.Coordination with the testing team to develop performance test plans andcases.Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc.Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser.Know how to use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms.Must be able to Load and Security testing on web services.Designing and developing test automation scripts to create, enhance,debug, and run test cases.Using test automation guidelines. Researching issues in software throughtesting to validate feedback, response time, & error code.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Active SecretCertifications: SAFe for Teams, ISTQBEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a relatedSTEM field.Years' experience: 6+ years of test automation related to test-drivendevelopment, software test planning, and/or software test automation toinclude 2+ years of use of Artifactory for automation and binary repositorylifecycle managementProgramming language knowledge with background in Java, Angular, Gitlab
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Education: Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or arelated STEM field.Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret / SCIExperience with a working/operating in a SCIF environmentExperience with the following programs:Manticore out-of-band defensive cyber for "Identify and Detect"...
