Tent and Prop Installer - 12 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 04/01/2024-11/30/2024

　　Employer: Cantele Tent Rentals, LLC, 37 Bender Blvd., Ghent, NY 12075.

　　Duties: Install tents including standup poles, set up tables, chairs and other party props. Organize storage props. Clean and maintain all rental items. Occasional driving small box van (non CDL) and pickup trucks. Prepare rental items such as table and chairs to load trucks. Load and unload by hand and with hand trucks, crates, tables, chairs, tent components at home base and work sites.

　　Employer to provide transportation to and from worksites in Columbia Dutchess, Greene, Renesselaer counties, from central location.

　　No education required. No experience required.

　　Work hours: Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm, 40 hours/week at $19.40/hour. 0-10 OT hours/week at $29.10/hour.

　　A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Monday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

　　Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

　　H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

　　Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.46/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
