About Telemetry Technician- Oak Telemetry - McLaren Careers

Assists healthcare service providers by monitoring patients' EKG waveforms. Interprets results, recognizes irregular heart functions, such as an arrhythmia and informs provider of potentially hazardous arrhythmias. Maintains monitoring equipment.

Required:

High school diploma or GED.

Completion of course in arrhythmia detection.

Preferred:

Three months of job-related experience.

Completion of formal coursework in EKG.
