We are seeking Technician in our Histology laboratory to join the LabCorp team! This unique opportunity is located in RTP, NC alongside highly trained staff with the latest technology. Our services are performed with the utmost care, expertise, integrity and respect for the patient.

　　The schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Support maintenance of instruments and reagent changesRetrieve specimens from accessioning and transfer to laboratoryCarry out collating of stained slides/casesDeliver cases to the pathologistsPotentially learn embedding

　　Requirements:

　　Associate's degree or higher in Medical Technology(MT or MLT). No additional experience requiredAssociates degree or higher in chemical, physical or biological science and with 3 months of supervised training or experience in clinical lab testingAbility to work independently and within a team environmentProficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plusHigh level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skillsMust be able to pass a standardized color vision screenFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business need
