　　VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking Technician Assistant(s), an entry level technical role, to join our team! We are specifically looking for Full-Time support; Shifts range throughout the week, fulfill a forty (40) hour work week on days that are based on the needs of the hospital.

　　Closing (730p) and weekend availability is a requirement.

　　Pay for this position is $17.42 per hour.

　　The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the desire and ambitious work ethic to make them happen. We have a team of experienced technicians, who are great at mentoring. On the job training is available and on-going!

　　Emphasis on team approach to client service between receptionist, technical and veterinary staff. Compassionate care for all patients is a must. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include but are not limited to:

　　Assisting clients into exam rooms and collecting history

　　Presenting patient History and signalment to our doctors

　　Assisting our technicians with lab sample collection and patient handling​

　　Cleaning and caring for hospitalized patients

　　Patient restraint for technicians and Doctors

　　Filling prescriptions

　　Some phone, client e-mails, and fax management

　　Computer data entry and maintaining medical records
