Grants Specialist -- Post Award
Position Summary
We are looking for a Grants Specialist (Post Award) to join our non-profit organization. This person can sit in our Ellensburg, Moses Lake, or Wenatchee office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive program guides for all newly acquired grants and existing grants, including related documentation for program managers.Collaborate with managers and different business areas to collect information about their processes.Review documentation and relevant legislation and interview employees to research the documented programs.Map out particular processes and seek feedback from the subject expert before writing the document to ensure accuracy.Coordinate with the Director of Training to implement the training curriculum as required by the program.Update and distribute program guides as grants or contracts renew if any material changes have been implemented.Review program guides annually to ensure the program operates per the guidelines. Update guide or program delivery as necessary.Manage the application process for grant renewals, including quality control and ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Assist the Director of Development with the interpretation of grant guidance and notice of award to ensure all requirements are met.Inform the finance department of invoicing procedures, including portal access for all new grants.Inform the data department of reporting requirements.Support Program Managers with regular program outcome reporting.

Proven ability to communicate and network with individuals and organizationsExcellent writing skills and attention to detailAbility to map out complex business processes.Working knowledge of basic computer programs.Preferred:
Experience in grant research and writingExperience in project managementBachelor's degree in a related field
