About Technical Writer 3

  Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA seeking a Technical Writer 3.Responsibilities:

  Technical Writer will help lead tech writing team goals, planning, and projects

  Help teams write/edit needed project documentation in a clear, concise, easily understandable manner

  Create documentation and knowledge sharing processes to maintain organization

  Organize documentation in an intuitive manner

  As a Technical Writer, you will align teams on and be advocate for knowledge sharing across studios

  Help research and push forward sharing initiatives or solutions to current pain points

  Bachelor's in Software Engineering, Gaming, or Writing, or equivalent industry experience

  5 years of experience in tech or tech-adjacent field

  Experience with Confluence, Atlassian products, and ADO

  Proven ability to understand and write technical documentation; Writing sample required

  Strong collaboration and communication skills

  Ability to self-drive and be a leader in the tech writing space

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Confluence wizard

  Prior experience as a tech writer or engineer

  Prior experience managing and organizing large amounts of documentation

  Ability to work on-site

  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

  Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

  This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
