Introduction

　　This requirement is for Software Defined Networking (SDN) Business unit which focuses on software based networking, an architecture approach that enables network to be intelligently and centrally controlled using software with main focus on automating network functions, allowing for simpler provisioning and management of network resources, everywhere from the data center to the campus to the edge.

　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　The IBM SevOne Network Performance Management (NPM) solution helps spot, address, and prevent hybrid network performance issues early with machine learning-powered analytics from a single source. Boost on-premise, SDN, SD-WAN, and WiFi network performance and improve user application experience by proactively monitoring multivendor end-to-end networks. Transform raw network performance data into intelligent and actionable insights across enterprise, communication, and managed service provider networks. The SevOne NPM solution goes beyond detection, combining industry-leading expertise and advanced technology to help the IT team plan, optimize the network and act on what matters.

　　Role and Responsibilities:

　　A Technical Writer role - an individual who will be responsible to write quality customer-facing guides and Release Notes.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　As a Technical Writer, you must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Technical Writer for networking / monitoring / engineering product(s). Ideally an individual with an Engineering degree but has an interest in writing quality customer-facing documents and Release Notes.

　　Must have good writing skills; a quick learner with a can-do attitude.

　　Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Markdown, HTML, GitHub, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Wiki.js, Linux

　　Must have some familiarity with Graphical User Interface / Command Line Interface.

　　Willing to learn and maintain the style / structure of our documents.

　　Working hours should overlap with US EST time-zone (at least 2 hours or so).

　　NPM contains 5 components. Based on the component(s) you will be responsible to attend / participate in meetings.

　　Must be comfortable to work with and must have the ability to form a great working relationship with his/her peers, Dev / QA team.

　　Must have willingness to learn and adapt to the software development release cycles.

　　This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date and proof of vaccination status will be required before your start date.
