About Technical Solutions Enablement Technical Trainer

  As a function of Datadog’s Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement department, the Technical Solutions (TS) Enablement team assists with knowledge sharing, continuing education, training materials, and maintaining internal processes for our in-house product experts. Our GTM Enablement org works with a best-of-breed product that solves real problems for our customers. We assist with sharing technical and product expertise with the technical solutions team through demos, e-learning, live trainings, documentation, and ongoing support.

  Datadog continues to grow at a rapid rate and with this exciting growth, our onboarding and ongoing training is also quickly increasing in scale and complexity. This position is responsible for providing onboarding and ongoing enablement training/programs to our TS teams in the Americas. We are looking for a structured communicator with a knack for simplifying the complex to develop and deliver the training content, curriculum and programs that enable our technical solutions people to be successful in their jobs.

  What You'll Do:

  Deliver live and virtual TS onboarding and training programs that equip our TS team with the essential knowledge and skills required to be successful in their role

  Become a technical expert in our products, go-to-market philosophy and industry

  Ensure that training content is delivered effectively

  Create and maintain eLearning curriculum learning paths customized for each team. Perform quarterly audit of course content. 

  Maintain regular reporting cadence of certification and course completion rates.

  Embed with TS to empathize with the realities of troubleshooting and demonstrating Datadog, but be willing to challenge assumptions to help the TS organization grow

  Champion technical solutions / go-to-market enablement programs at Datadog 

  Who You Are:

  3-5 years in learning and development, training, or teaching role

  Fluency in English

  Demonstrated history of coaching and mentoring colleagues around key role elements 

  Experience presenting day-long or multi-day trainings to groups of 10+ learners

  Project management experience delivering quality product on short timeframes

  Experience developing dynamic and engaging trainings for various audiences

  Appetite for the technical: you’ll jump right and learn how our products work

  Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple

  Team oriented and empathetic: you can work with analysts, engineers, reps, whomever!

  General knowledge of cloud technologies

  Bonus Points:

  We realize you may not have all of these skills and that’s OK, we are realistic and understand we may have to trade on some of these in favor of other qualifications you bring.

  Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company

  Knowledge of DevOps

  Experience enabling support or sales engineers with a structured methodology

  Experience building scalable programs at our scale or greater

  The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $86,000 - $127,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
