　　About Team

　　Site Reliability Engineering(SRE) at TikTok combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. In our team, you'll have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale, while using expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design.

　　As an Engineer Leader on the SRE team, you will:

　　1. Leads efforts to empower TikTok backend infrastructure and corresponding toolchains with high reliability

　　2. Leads efforts to deep dive TikTok business scenarios to solve development painpoints, provide optimal architecture and solutions from the perspective of reliability

　　3. Leads the SRE team to build tools and platforms to improve the efficiency of maintenance work

　　Qualifications

　　Job requirements

　　1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5~7+ years of experience

　　2. Experience programming in one of the languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, and Rust,etc

　　3. Familiar with Unix/Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems

　　4. Preferred experience in designing and analyzing large-scale distributed systems

　　5. Preferred strong skills in problem solving and communication

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $224000 - $410000 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
