About Team Performance Coach

  WHAT YOU'LL DO

Teaming is a global BCG priority initiative to make BCG the first choice for clients and talent. Teaming aims to ensure that our teams collaborate as efficiently as possible, integrating all our capabilities in multidisciplinary teams to maximize value and impact for our clients, while enabling our people to thrive and develop professionally.

As a dynamic and solution-oriented Team Performance Coach, you will be an integral part of BCG's Teaming team in Central Europe (CE), supporting our staff in their day-to-day work on client projects. Your key responsibility will be to support your portfolio of selected teams with their project setup and execution as well as their digital enablement through coaching, expertise, and best-practice sharing. This support will include setting up and moderating initial project team meetings with all team members, coaching individual team members, facilitating trainings, supporting teams in defining roles and responsibilities, and activating digital tools to maximize team efficiency and transparency (e.g., Slack, Trello, or Miro) as well as agile working.

In addition, you will contribute to the Teaming team by continuously improving our concept (e.g., sharing lessons learned and best practices, contributing to content development, and facilitating internal training sessions). As a professional coach, you will be an ambassador of the teaming culture within the organization.

Coaches work in four main areas:

Coaching the most complex and high-priority BCG cases in Central Europe and accelerating the adoption of new ways of working for entire teams, with an emphasis on enabling effective leadership by working alongside senior leaders (50-60%)

Coaching individuals to be effective contributors to the teams they are part of and supporting their personal and professional growth (15-20%)

Acting as a mentor to rotating coaches and other enablers of change in Central Europe (10-20%)

Contributing thought and practice leadership within the CE Coaching Team to enable continuous innovation and maximize impact (10%)

You are collaborative and enjoy developing joint solutions with an iterative mindset.

You are able to build a network, influence, and effectively persuade, working with multiple stakeholders across the organization to enable change.
