  JOB SUMMARY:

  This is a Tax Specialist I position in the General Tax Administration Program, Refunds and Revenue Accounting, Account Services Unit. The incumbent researches, processes, and responds to written and verbal inquiries regarding taxpayer refunds.

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

  Two years of experience communicating with customers for the purpose of resolving inquiries.

  Two years of experience making adjustments to account balance in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).

  Two years of experience analyzing or correcting billings.

  PREFERENCES:

  Experience researching, interpreting, and applying Florida tax law.

  SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,798.59 monthly/$45,583.08 annually.
